PLUMBLINE

Since the debut release of Circles in 2003, Plumbline has managed to keep the musical output constant with the follow-up Pin Points and the most recent release, Transparencies. This album takes the evolution even further as a collaboration with ambient master Roger Eno. This time, the production process was somewhat unorthodox. Many sounds and melodies were recorded in buildings, churches and Roger's living room in the English countryside of Suffolk, and then brought back to New York to tweak, manipulate and expand into full tracks. The result is Roger's piano, organ and even accordion combined with Plumbline's signature rhythms and tones. Simple and soothing, yet often layered with transparent complexities.

"TRANSPARENCIES" OUT NOW
Plumbline and Roger Eno's full-length collaboration, titled "Transparencies", is ready for release. The production process was somewhat unorthodox: many sounds and melodies were recorded in buildings, churches and Roger's living room in the English countryside of Suffolk, and then brought back to New York to tweak, manipulate and expand into full tracks. The result is Roger's piano, organ and even accordion combined with Plumbline's signature rhythms and tones. Simple and soothing, yet often layered with transparent complexities.
